| About these images
These images are digital composites of between ten and forty images taken with a conventional digital or film camera. The images are shot handheld or on a monopod then aligned and remapped using special software, before being painstakingly stitched together in Photoshop.
It takes between one and three days to complete a single image.
All images of this kind that feature real people are trompe l'oeuils, since they compress between one and twenty minutes of real time into a single image. Not all of the people there in the picture were there at the same time. To put it another way, the time axis in these pictures is collapsed down.
All these images match up at the left and right hand sides of frame and can be repositioned to make any point of the image the center.
