Techniques
I don't want to pretend to be any kind of an expert on techniques. But I've been through plenty of battles with myself and my processes and my equipment, so maybe some of the stuff here will find a listening ear.

By far the biggest issue in Street Photography, over and above any concerns about exposure, composition or any of that stuff, is 'shyness': the fear of getting into a confrontation while photographing on the street. While it's a valid concern, it's also vastly overblown in the minds of most beginners, so I offer a possible solution.

I also offer my own extended version of the sunny-16 rule, which should allow you to guess the exposure for pretty much any situation you'll encounter even if you left your lightmeter at home (like I do most of the time these days)

Soon to come: more on digital techniques, including what I consider an optimized workflow for getting the best quality image off the film and onto the paper in your inkjet.
