Wild Things, Part VII - Epping

, originally uploaded by John Brownlow.

On Wednesday I was up north winterizing a farmhouse for a friend, but I was done at about 9.30 am so I threw the cameras and the snowshoes in the back of the car and headed over to Epping, where we bought 50 acres of nothing to build a house on. There was between a foot and three feet of powdery snow -- tough going. I hiked in with the Rollei, which froze solid after the first shot, so I hiked back to the car and swapped it for the 4x5, then hiked back. The shots in this set were taken over the space of about five hours. There's a plain HTML version available, if you find Flickr annoying.
